Chester-le-Street Heritage Group
Ropery Lane Cemetery Project
Over the past couple of years, the Heritage Group have been busy recording the details and photographing the existing head stones in the Ropery Lane Cemetery.
The information transcribed from the headstones should assist those who are researching their family history and could help them locate the grave or graves of their relatives.
The project will take a few more years to complete, but this page is where the details of the project will be published, with the intention of providing ia searchable format.
