Park Road Filling Station - Revamped

BP Oil UK successfully obtained planning permission to redesign Park Road Filling Station. The plans required the demolition of the existing sales building and replacement with a smaller forecourt shop selling convenience goods, in addition to 6 fuel pumps being replaced they also created 11 parking places along with other alterations.

The work to demolish the Filling Station began in mid-August 2015 and only took a few days to level the ground. However, at least two large holes were being dug out by excavators at the time these pictures were taken.

Information displayed on the site notice boards indicates that there will be an M&S convenience food store and a Wild Bean Cafe along with the eleven parking places.

The new BP Station opened 24th February 2016.
